About me

Hi! I’m Dia 👋🏼

I’m a mom of two little ones living in Seattle suburbs, and someone who’s constantly working on new ideas (my family jokes that I have a collection of half-built projects). I work in tech during the day and spend my evenings navigating the beautiful chaos of toddlerhood, preschool, and everything in between.

Why MomFinds exists

Like many parents, I felt completely overwhelmed when my first baby arrived. The sheer volume of baby products, conflicting advice, and “must-have” lists left me paralyzed in Target aisles and drowning in open browser tabs at 2am. I desperately wanted someone to just tell me: What do I actually need? What works? What’s worth the money?

Here’s the truth: I obsess over finding the best products for my kids. I extensively research every purchase because I want to give them quality items that will actually last. Kids outgrow things so quickly, so I’ve learned to be strategic—investing in durable pieces that can withstand the wear and tear of daily use, while being mindful of our budget.

That’s why I started MomFinds—to cut through the clutter and share real, mom-tested recommendations with other parents who are in the trenches with me.

What makes this different

I’m not looking back at parenting through rose-colored glasses—I’m living it right now. My kids are young, I’m figuring things out as I go, and I’m testing products in real-time as my family grows through each stage. When I recommend something, it’s because I’ve actually used it, not because I read about it in another roundup post.

I spend my days thinking about what makes products and experiences genuinely useful, and I apply that same lens to parenting gear. I ask: Does this actually solve a problem? Is it worth the investment? Will it make your life easier?

What you’ll find here

Real product recommendations, not fluff. I share what actually works—from newborn essentials to toddler gear to work-from-home parent must-haves. I’m honest about what’s worth buying and what you can skip. You’ll find the products that worked for my kids AND the ones that didn’t—because those failures save you money too.

Smart investing, not just spending. I balance quality with budget-consciousness. Since kids outgrow everything so fast, I focus on durable items that can handle real life (and maybe even make it to a second kid or resale).

Personal finance for parents. Beyond product recommendations, I share practical money strategies for families—from budgeting for kids’ expenses to making financially smart decisions as your family grows. Parenting is expensive, and I believe in being intentional about where our money goes.

Coverage that grows with your family. Because I’m in this phase with you, I’m discovering and testing products across all the early childhood stages. You can trust that my recommendations come from genuine, current experience.

Curated wishlists you can actually use. I create thoughtful gift guides and wishlists that you can share with family and friends for birthdays and holidays—taking the guesswork out of what to ask for.

A working parent’s perspective. Balancing a career with little ones means I deeply understand the need for products and setups that actually make life more manageable, not just look good on Instagram.

A little more about me

When I’m not chasing my kids or working, I’m usually running through my endless todo list —whether that’s a blog post idea, a better playroom organization system, or travel and hope that I don’t abandon it halfway through.

I believe in learning by doing, in sharing what works (and what doesn’t), and in building community with other parents who are figuring this out as they go.

Thanks for being here. Let’s navigate this parenting journey together.
